Ted Nield |
Ted Nield is struggling to come to terms with the fact
that he has been writing about science for 20 years since ceasing to
be a geologist. He now specialises in Earth sciences, as editor of the
news-led web site of the Geological Society of London (www.geolsoc.org.uk)
and its sister publication, the colour magazine Geoscientist. He is also the
society's media relations man. |

general public. Previously I worked in IT, a maths and statistics
