ABSW was delighted to organise Podcasting for beginners as part of the Public Communication of Science and Technology conference at the University of Aberdeen.
This three-hour session featured:
- An overview of the science podcasting landscape, Dr Lewis MacKenzie, Durham University
- Writing for audio workshop, Sue Nelson, Boffin Media
- How to produce simple but professional-sounding podcasts on a shoestring panel discussion, Dr Rowan Hooper (New Scientist podcasts), Georgia Mills (freelance radio producer), Dr Asma Bashir (Her Royal Science podcast) and Dr Stuart Higgins (Scientists not the Science podcast).
