October 14-15, 2026

The European Federation for Science Journalists (EFSJ) will organise a European Science Journalism Conference in Hannover, Germany, in 2026. The event will take place on 14 and 15 October, alongside the annual WPK Wissenswerte conference on 15 and 16 October. The main topic of the conference will be "Science journalism for a world in crisis”.  Diversity scholarships to fund your visit are available from the ABSW - see events page for more.

November 13, 2026

ABSW members are invited to join us on an all-day visit to the University of Manchester on Friday November 13, where we will meet researchers and learn about their work. A registration page and more details about the day’s programme will be provided later. For now, please save the date.
