The Creators' Rights Alliance (CRA) is a united voice for creators, made up of 23 creator-led groups, trade associations, and unions, representing over 500,000 members working in the UK’s creative industries. It was formed to promote, protect and further the interests of creators through policy, advocacy and campaigning work, and continues to be recognised by the Government as the voice of creators in the UK.

The CRA sits on the Creative Industries Council and is regularly invited to meetings with the Department for Science Innovation and Technology and the Department for Culture Media and Sport, alongside a range of sub-groups including Education, Good Work and Intellectual Property.

We encourage ABSW members to tell us about any issues relating to your rights as a creator that you think we should be aware of. Anonymised case studies can be used to help CRA gather the evidence they need when speaking to Parliament and the Government on your behalf.
