We are delighted that your pupils are considering entering the Young Science Writer Award in 2025. We have included a few links to some useful information that should help guide students through the submission process.

Please note that essays should be written by students and should not have undergone editing by teachers ahead of submission. Essays will be checked for the use of AI before being sent for judging. Any essays found to have been substantially written by an AI tool will be disqualified from the competition.

If you have any additional questions then please contact the competition manager Maisie at [email protected].

For teachers:

How do my students prove to me that they entered this contest?

After students submit their essays they will receive an email that will confirm that their submission has been received. This will happen once the competition has closed.
