On 15th October, at the UK Conference of Science Journalists 2024, panel chair Joseph Harker (Senior Editor, Diversity and Development, The Guardian) sat down with Celeste Bievier (Chief News and Features Editor, Nature) and Shraddha Chakradhar (Deputy News Editor for Diversity, Science) to discuss the efforts their respective institutions are making to address the improvement of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the industry.

- 500 Women Scientists: Gage is a global search platform where journalists, media outlets, conference planners and others seeking brilliant voices in science can discover women and gender-diverse folks in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM);
- Women scientists and scientists from underrepresented backgrounds platforms (Gage-related resources)
- 500 Queer Scientists;
- Disabled Writers - Increasing disability diversity in journalism;
- Recruiting for inclusion: a guide for media organisations, Inclusive Journalism;
- The AAAS Diverse Voices in Science Journalism Internship;
- Advancing Futures (McMillan Education) is a comprehensive programme designed to introduce the topics of global citizenship, sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion in classrooms around the world.
